A Brief Military History of FlandersFlanders has been at the center of many military conflicts throughout its history. During the 16th and 17th centuries, much of Europe descended into a period of continual warfare with the usual causes of power, politics, trade and religion all to blame. The spread of Protestantism in the Spanish Netherlands was particularly troubling to the Catholic Spanish rulers who sought to suppress it at every turn. This led to seven major wars during this period, all interconnected and overlapping, including the Dutch Revolt (aka The Eighty Years War), The Thirty Years War, The Franco-Spanish War, The War of Devolution, the Franco-Dutch War, the Anglo-Dutch War and the Nine Years War. As might be expected, the Spanish Netherlands incorporating Flanders once more became ‘the cockpit of war.’

The Immortal 6,000In 1657, an unusual Anglo-French alliance was formed between Oliver Cromwell and Louis XIV. Under the terms of the treaty, Cromwell despatched a contingent of 6,000 English soldiers to fight alongside the French in Flanders. In the summer of 1658, the English troops showed their determination in battle, routing the Spanish at the Battle of the Dunes (adjacent to Dunkirk), and then by storming and capturing several towns, including Ypres. The English contingent under the leadership of Sir William Lockhart, became known in British military history as 'The Immortal 6,000.'

Programme au format S, des vidéos pour appprendre ludiquement l'histoire de ma courageuse région et briller en société La FAQ de Charles Vous avez des questions, j'ai des réponses A quoi ressemble une de tes formations types ? Mes programmes sont essentiellement sous format vidéo. Ce sont pour la plupart des slides illustrées et épurées, avec ma voix en OFF sur micro cravate. Il y a soit 1, 3 ou 5 modules, avec parfois des bonus face caméra, des ateliers, cas pratique ou mise en situation. Sur quoi te bases-tu pour établir les tarifs ? Je distingue mes programmes selon leur durée (S, M, L, XL, XXL). D'autres critères entrent en compte comme: -le temps de création, tournage, montage, compression, publication, promotion, logistique... -l'importance du sujet traité et le bénéfice tiré puis rentabilisé -le fait que je sois le seul à proposer cette solution Les tarifs vont de la dizaine d'euros pour une demi-heure, au millier d'euros pour plus de 30h de programme condensé. Ils restent accessibles pour n'importe quel porte-monnaie avec le payement en plusieurs fois.  Mes livres en eux-mêmes délivrent beaucoup de contenu de qualité à des prix ridiculeusement bas. Tout n'est donc qu'une question de priorité et d'assiduité. Pourquoi autant de domaines traités par rapport à d'autres formateurs ? Les mauvaises langues diront que l'on ne peut pas être un expert partout, mais c'est une stratégie que j'assume pleinement. J'ai toujours lu beaucoup dès le plus jeune âge dans des domaines très différents, et je ne souhaite pas être restreint à une case (par simple lassitude). Ce qui m'anime et me motive durant mes nombreuses heures de travail a toujours été la passion, et je pense sincèrement que mon contenu reste de meilleure qualité possible tant que je la conserve.  Je ne regarde que très rarement la concurrence, et il est évidemment possible que quelqu'un soit plus instruit que moi sur une de mes thématiques. Votre propre moniteur de conduite n'était pas Michael Schumacher, et pourtant vous êtes en capacité de conduire convenablement. Cela signifie que la visibilité publique du formateur n'implique pas forcément une affinité ni une meilleure compréhension pour booster vos résultats.
